eJazz Free Jazz

As a fan of many genres of music, it's always nice to see legally free music available for download. Personally, I think it's a great marketing tool. For the most part, we see rock, alternative, dance, and hip hop being offered up, but jazz (besides the free CD's with a Jazziz Magazine subscription) seems to be a genre that fans must really search for in order to seek out new sounds.

Well jazz fans, belay that frustration! As a part of the eJazz News website, a new weekly sampler is being made available for download. For the cost of your time to subscribe, you'll discover an amalgam of new and established artists, delivered right to your inbox.

To give you an idea, here's the track listing from Sampler #1:

MARCH 1 2010 - TRACK LIST
01. Terry Clarke ‘Feel Free’
02. Dafnis Prieto ‘Si O Si’
03. Dave Young ‘Mean What You Say’
04. Joe Coughlin ‘Baby Don't Quit’
05. Roberto Occhipinti ‘A Bend in the River’
06. Triodes ‘Big Belly’
07. Alex Terrier ‘Roundtrip”
08. Sophie Berkal-Sarbit ‘Until’
09. Alex Bellegarde ‘Pawnshop’
10. Daniel Barnes ‘Short Bop”
